Public Administration Course Registration

PA 206 (POL 206): This course is open for registration to Public Administration MAJORS (criminal justice, health and human services, and public management and policy) over Sophomore & Freshman Priority Registration weekends. Political Science majors and Public Administration MINORS will be able to register for this course beginning Monday after 9 am of Sophomore & Freshman Priority Registration week. Any remaining seats will be open at the end of Priority Registration on April 26.
PA 221 (SOC 221): This course is open for registration to Public Administration MAJORS (criminal justice, health and human services, and public management and policy) over Sophomore & Freshman Priority Registration weekends. Sociology majors and Public Administration MINORS will be able to register for this course beginning the Monday after 9 am of Sophomore & Freshman Priority Registration week. Any remaining seats will be open at the end of Priority Registration on April 26.
PA 241 (SOC 241): This course is open for registration to Public Administration MAJORS (criminal justice, health and human services, and public management and policy) over Sophomore & Freshman Priority Registration weekends. PA 336, 343, 344, and 446: These courses will be open to Public Administration MAJORS (criminal justice, health and human services, and public management) during Priority Registration weekends. Sociology majors and Public Administration MINORS will be able to register for this course beginning Monday after 9 am of the Priority Registration week. All students must register for these courses under PA and not SOC. Any remaining seats will be open at the end of Priority Registration to PA majors/minors and SOC majors/minors on April 26.
PA 341 and 342: These courses will be open to Sociology MAJORS during Priority Registration weekends. Public Administration MAJORS (criminal justice, health and human services, and public management) and Sociology MINORS will be able to register for this course beginning Monday after 9 am of the Priority Registration week. All students must register for these courses under SOC and not PA. Any remaining seats will be open at the end of Priority Registration to PA majors/minors and SOC majors/minors on April 26.
PA 406, 481, and 496L: These courses will be open to Public Administration MAJORS (criminal justice, health and human services, and public management) during Priority Registration weekends. POL majors and Public Administration MINORS will be able to register for this course beginning Monday after 9 am of the Priority Registration week. All students must register for these courses under PA and not POL. Any remaining seats will be open at the end of Priority Registration to PA majors/minors and POL majors/minors on April 26.
PA 321, 445, 461, and 496J: These courses will be open to Public Administration MAJORS (criminal justice, health and human services, and public management) during Priority Registration weekends. Public Administration MINORS will be able to register for this course beginning Monday after 9 am of the Priority Registration week. Any remaining seats will be open at the end of Priority Registration to all PA majors/minors on April 26.
PA 405, 410, and 470: These courses are restricted to students who have been admitted to the Public Administration Professional Program. Registration is handled by the PA Undergraduate Academic Advisor and will not be available via webreg.
Note: 'House Numbered' Course Limitation
House numbered courses that have a "9" as their middle digit (e.g., 299, 393, 494, etc.) are restricted as follows:
A. Non-honors students - no more than 9 units may be used to meet degree requirements.
B. Honors students - no more than 15 units may be used to meet degree requirements (including the 6 units of thesis credit).
C. All students - no more than 3 units may be used within the major.
