What is Freshman Follow-Up?

Freshman Follow-Up is a mandatory program which all first semester, Pre-Business and Public Administration freshmen in the Eller College of Management must complete prior to being able to register for the Spring 2008 semester.

Who needs to complete Who participates in Freshman Follow-Up?

Eller College of Management freshmen who are in their first semester at The University of Arizona Fall 2007 must complete it. This includes students who graduated from high school last Spring and who are declared as Pre-Business, Health and Human Services, Criminal Justice Administration, or Public Management and Policy majors.

If you meet the above conditions, you must complete the Freshman Follow-Up Program prior to registering for Spring 2008 classes. 

If you did not attend a Freshman Follow-Up session, an online make-up assignment is available through BlackBoard.

Each student who did not attend one of the Freshman Follow-Up sessions will complete an online assignment prior to registering for next semester. The test can be taken multiple times. It is strongly recommended that Freshmen complete the online assignment before Priority Registration begins.  Please allow for at least one hour to complete the assignment.

How does an Eller College Freshman access the Freshman Follow-Up Assignment on Blackboard?

• Log into http://blackboard.eller.arizona.edu using your username and password and click on the tab titled “Freshman Follow-Up”.
• Utilize the Frequently Asked Questions and other information on the Eller College Undergraduate Programs website ( http://ugrad.eller.arizona.edu/ ), the Eller College of Management website ( http://www.eller.arizona.edu ), and The University of Arizona website ( http://www.arizona.edu ).
• The Freshman Follow-Up online assignment is currently available and will be open until your registration time.

When does registration begin for the next semester?

• For early priority groups (Athletes), registration is October 8-12, 2007.
• For Honors students, registration begins on October 20, 2007

All remaining freshmen start registering November 3, 2007.
