The ELITE Program presents an opportunity for Pre-Business freshmen to network among peers and develop connections that will help them achieve success in their upper division Eller College experience and professional career.
The program consists of a series of workshops, guest speakers, service opportunities, and social events that allow members to participate in:
- Opportunities to meet peers prior to entering the Eller College
- Upper level activities that most freshmen do not get
- Team Building at Associate Dean Pam Perry’s house
- Dinner at the prestigious Hall of Champions
- Attendance at the Technology and Management Award Luncheon
- Personal Resume and Cover Letter reviews from professionals
- Edward Jones Portfolio Challenge
- Invitation to Night with the Stars Awards Event
- Mentorship from upper division students
- Scholarship opportunities
- One-on-one advising with a personal Pre-Business advisor
- Exclusive ELITE Math 115 and INDV 102 class
Who Should Join the ELITE Program?
The Eller Leadership Board is recruiting motivated Pre-Business freshmen who will add value to a community committed to personal development, social involvement, and achieving high-level academic and career related goals.

ELITE Membership Commitment & Requirements
- Cumulative High School GPA of at least 3.20
- $100 dues (goes towards t-shirt and monthly dinners)
- Must participate in 80% of meetings, workshops, and field experiences
- Demonstrate leadership and fellowship among program members.
- There may be some required short travel activities to promote a sense of community within the group that will require additional fees.
