Statement of Intent

The Eller Pre-Business Living-Learning Community offers an amazing opportunity to live, learn and socialize with your peers. This Living-Learning Community features a creative and high-energy environment with access to Academic Advisors, career exploration, connections with business professionals, student-faculty interaction, and professional development workshops. All Eller Pre-Business freshmen students are encouraged to apply to be part of this community. Space is limited, so perspective students are encouraged to apply early in the Fall semester.

How to Apply

If you are an entering Pre-Business freshman and are interested in being part of the Pre-Business Living-Learning Community in La Paz:

Submit your housing application and fees to UA Residence Life.
Submit the online Statement of Intent form below.
Send a Resume and Cover Letter electronically to the La Paz Living-Learning Community Coordinator.

Applications will first be reviewed in November, and will continue to be reviewed on a rolling basis throughout the Spring semester until spaces are full.

By submitting this form, I am hereby committing to living in the Eller Pre-Business Living-Learning Community in La Paz and authorize The University of Arizona Residence Life staff to assign me to the designated residence hall. I also affirm that I have submitted a housing application and $150 non-refundable application fee. I understand that floor assignments are based on space availability and are not guaranteed.

Submitting Your Resume and Cover Letter

Please remember to send along your resume and cover letter as supporting materials that you feel will help us get to know you and find out why you would be a good addition to the Eller Pre-Business Living-Learning Community. A resume and cover letter are requested as part of the application process because they are integral to the success of future business leaders. For more information on how to prepare a resume and cover letter, please refer to these Student Career Tools and keep these tips in mind:

A cover letter should describe what you will bring to the Pre-Business Living-Learning Community and what you expect to gain from the experience
A resume should include the activities in which you were involved during high school
