University of Dreams runs summer internship programs for college and university students in Chicago, Los Angeles, New York, San Francisco, Barcelona, London, Hong Kong, Costa Rica, and Sydney. Internships International offers non-credit granting internships in an internship designed by you, the intern. Our organization works with contacts at one of our many international sites. Internships generally last about eight to twelve weeks (some interns have extended their stay) and while they are all non-paying, there are often opportunities to ”moonlight” on the side.

Adelante Abroad has low cost programs, based in cities around the world, with a focus on cultural immersion and real-life experience in international study and professional settings in Spanish speaking countries.

World Endeavors provides unique and fulfilling opportunities abroad. We offer volunteer, intern, and study abroad programs in several countries around the world.

Abroad China was founded in 2001 by with a vision of bridging the gap between the East and West through educational study, internship and volunteer programs to China. Most of the traditional tour or study abroad programs do not offer the same cultural experience as working or volunteering in China. Additionally, by leveraging our relationship with local companies, we are able to offer research projects to enhance study group tours to China. Global Experiences' International internships provide a tremendous opportunity to gain invaluable practical work experience, learn new foreign language skills, and cultural immersion opportunities that are second to none.

As a ProWorld Intern, you will work abroad with the community and one of our affiliated non-governmental organizations (NGO's), government social programs, or a ProWorld initiated project.  Your project is determined by community need and your skills and interests.  Project portfolios include health, the environment and social and economic development.  You will be a part of real, sustainable development.

COINED was founded in 1971 we have been working with cultural immersion projects around the world. We offer different Internship Programs aimed at improving your professional qualifications and giving you an insight into different working atmospheres abroad. Fees for these programs are set by our partner organizations, but ELI makes every effort to keep them as affordable as possible.

International Internships LLC provides overseas internship placements in ten countries around the globe for American and international students. Choose your destination and we will customize a placement for you that is tailored to your skills, interests, and education. Or, choose a SPECIALTY INTERNSHIP within your field in a prearranged placement. In either case, our placements are custom selected to be as rewarding to the student as possible, providing hands on experience in the field.

WISE Abroad is a non-profit organization dedicated to the dissemination of global awareness and understanding among college students, recently graduated college students and educators through work-and-travel programs abroad, international internships and study abroad programs.

Nixon Center Internships

The Nixon Center is seeking energetic undergraduate and graduate students (though non-students may also apply) interested in international affairs for volunteer (unpaid) internship positions in its Washington, DC office. An internship at the Center is an excellent way for students to learn about international affairs and meet influential people in government, think tank, academic, and media circles.

 Internships at The Nixon Center can be full-time or part-time positions depending on the candidate's interest and the needs of the particular program.  Duties differ from program to program but generally involve research, administrative support, and event organization .

Congress-Bundestag Youth Exchange for Young Professionals

The CBYX for Young Professionals program is intended primarily for young adults in business, technical, vocational, and agricultural fields, though applicants from all fields are encouraged to apply. 75 Americans and 100 Germans participate in the program each year. For American participants, the 12-month program begins in late July, and consists of 2 months of intensive German language training in Germany, 4 months classroom instruction at a German University or College of Applied Sciences, and a 5-month internship in their career field.

The Émigré Memorial German Internship Program

The Émigré Memorial German Internship Program - German State Parliaments (EMGIP) is a fellowship program that provides American and Canadian students the opportunity to intern at the Landtage - German State Parliaments. This is a great opportunity for individuals hoping to pursue careers at a regional level of government in the US or Canada, or who are interested in specific policy issues such as the environment, education and/or healthcare. Participants on the program gain practical work experience with a state parliament utilize their German skills and experience German culture firsthand.

Schott Summer Internship Program in Germany

This program provides well-compensated summer work opportunities for U.S. students in business/marketing & PR, engineering, information technology and physical sciences at SCHOTT AG in Germany. SCHOTT is a world leader in special glass and glass-ceramics for industrial, scientific and consumer applications with over 17,000 employees in more than 36 countries. The SCHOTT Summer Internship Program will provide you with valuable work experience, help improve your German language skills, and allow you to experience German culture firsthand from late May through August 2007.

Student Services International Internship Program

This internship program offers students and recent graduates the opportunity to gain professional experience abroad through three seminars and a nine-month internship in one of the Studentenwerke (Student Service Organizations). In the German university system, the Studentenwerke are responsible for many functions that, in the United States, are performed by universities in the division of student affairs. In coordination with universities and the cities where they are located, the Studentenwerke work to improve student life and take an active part in shaping the university environment.

Internship Program in Germany

This program provides practical training opportunities in Germany for American students and recent graduates and non U.S. citizens enrolled in an accredited U.S. college or university. Paid placements are available in business, finance, technical, and engineering fields for usually 6 (enrolled students) to 12 months (extension possible up to a total of 18 months for graduates). Programs start individually at the beginning of each month. Apply approximately 5 months prior to your desired start date. A limited number of stipends for one-month language courses are available if you qualify.

Internship Program in Argentina

This program, administered in cooperation with our partner organization, Comisión de Intercambio Educativo (COINED), provides internship opportunities for U.S. and Canadian students and young professionals in either Buenos Aires or Córdoba, Argentina. Unpaid placements are available in business/finance, general administration, hotel management/tourism, computer science, engineering and a variety of other fields. Two program options are available: a 4-week Spanish language course and an 8-week internship with an Argentinean company (Combination Language/Internship Option) or a 12-week internship with a host company (Internship Option). Applications are accepted on a rolling basis throughout the year. Applications must be submitted at least 3 to 4 months before the desired start date.

Summer Internship Program in Germany

This summer program (late-May – August) provides students at U.S. colleges and universities with the opportunity to complete professional internships in Germany. Paid placements are available in business/finance, production, general administration, hotel management/tourism, computer science, engineering and a variety of other fields. Internships for liberal arts majors are also available, but are likely to be unpaid (museums, non-profits, media, etc.). Three program options are available: 1) 1-month language course in Germany in June, followed by a 2-month internship with a host company; 2) 3-month internship with a host company, 3) 2-month internship with a host company, starting in late-May or late-July. For participants with a late-May start date, we will conduct an orientation seminar in Germany prior to the internship start. A limited number of stipends are available to those requiring additional language training. Following the personal interview, we will inform you whether additional language training is required.
